Abstract The Research Program on Ethnicity and Overseas Chinese Economies (RPEOCE) was established in August 1998 through a generous donation from the Tsung Tsin Association, the largest hakka clan association in Hong Kong, for the purpose of supporting research in ethnicity and overseas Chinese economies.
